so like im kinda kicking myself alot now that i find out theres only 100 people going.
and i didnt get a wristband.
oh man that place on the barrier better be worth it.
and the secret show better be really short.
im spiteful.
the very first time i saw your face i thought of a song and quickly changed the tune. the very first time i touched your skin i thought of a story and rushed to reach the end too soon.

as seen on COF
: the details for that secret "gig"  :rocker

What: Cure soundcheck

Where: Sydney Entertainment Centre

When: Friday, July 10th from 5:30 - 6pm (you need to be in line at 4pm)

Who: Only the 100 people who received wristbands at Red Eye Records on Thursday morning

I'm sorry but I don't consider soundcheck as a "gig".

Still....it would have been interesting to attend.

More from COF, including a partial set list:

Okay there was lot of improvising, but this is what live music is all about. They chose a set list that they could not normaly play in front of a paying bigger audience and yeah that made it unique and just so good. Whoever's idea was to choose such a set list is a genius.

The set list was 6 songs and included Letter to Elise, Maybe Someday, Disintegration.

Robert made some lucky girls night, by handing her the set list at the end of the night."

me too, and without wanting to sound greedy, I would like all the Aus/NZ shows, I would forego the rest of the world for that - after all Im not greedy.

I was waiting in line for door 1 when i heard from people who had been queuing for their reserved seats that some lady from myspace was handing out extra wristbands and that they had gotten in.  When I went around to ask her she flat out denied it, even though I could see them inside being very proud of themselves.  Kind of a bummer, obviously she had given them all out or didn't like the look of me. I think I would have lost my spot on the barrier for the main show if I'd gotten in, and it was loud enough that I could pick out the setlist anyway.

Only really missed out on two songs, and given how my ears feel today it's probably a good thing I didn't get an extra half hour of it.
f*ck Parental Advisory.  Mines a Pint.

How Beautiful You Are doesnt sound half bad actually.... you know its a song ive never really picked up on, but i like this version.  ;)

yeah a woman who had been waiting in line with us all day at gate F happened to have left just to stretch her legs and that myspace lady offered her a wristband if she 'tell everyone how great myspace was'.
we were all jealous
